Ok, so there was a little help on the shingling from a professional who Eric knows in town. Thankfully!
This is soooo Christian just banging away at the trees, tree people would not like us. He is always being told to stop destroying things around the house. He is not allowed to carry an ax any longer! With his birthday money he picked out two swords, one for him and one for Ethan. The common phrase in our house is "Calv (nickname for Christian Calvin) stop hitting _____!" Usually it is a wall or Eric or sibling, but could very well be anything. His usual greeting when Eric arrives home is a whack from behind, and then a giggle!
I am so proud of my men! They did such a good job! Now I get to enjoy the views.

Here are Gracie, Ethan, and Christian in their first ever bell choir! They really dressed for the occasion... are those really MY kids? Check out the boots, star war shirts and the mis-matched buttons all on Thanksgiving Eve! Their performance was so cute so it made up for lack of style!
