Its A........Boy or Girl?

Or, a mystery baby! I had an ultrasound on Monday and we had a reveal party planned that night at our house. Just with us 8,  but when you have a family of eight you can have your own party and it feels like a lot of people there! I had planned on putting pink or blue frosting in the middle of a gluten free chocolate cake with white frosting on the outside. Well, that did not happen. The poor ultrasound tech could not get Baby to move in a position to allow her to see if it was a boy baby or girl baby. So, it will be a sweet surprise in about 4 and 1/2 months.

I ended up making a cake with pink and blue frosting on top and yellow in the middle so when Eric took the cake top off the kids they were all very confused. Then everyone was a little disappointed as they had all been looking forward to finding out. We ended up celebrating anyways since everything unofficially looked well with the baby. I have an appointment on Friday and will find out more then but so far so good.

This weekend we carved pumpkins with the kids and that was a fun project for us all after all the drama of the last week. Jordan is also doing very well so thank you again to all who have prayed and asked the Lord for healing . She is working hard at putting weight on her foot despite it hurting and we have watched her go from 2 to 1 crutch. I am contemplating cancelling her appointment in the Cities on Thursday but am in the process of discussing that with the Doctors to see what they think.

After our non-reveal party Ethan, Gracie and Christian decided to clean the kitchen for me! There was water everywhere, but I was very proud of the little ones for thinking of that. It was a sweet treat for me. Here is the proof!

Sorry the pics are so dark, the flash was on and I was not paying attention.

On the church side of things, we have a congregational meeting tomorrow night to be filled in on where we are in the church buying, or not, process. Be in prayer as these types of things can be very sensitive. Thanks for praying.

Love,
Miriam
