Jubilee, Jubes, Jubers, Juber Gubers, Juby, some of the names she has been affectionately called over this last year. We will see which one sticks through out her life. It feels like just yesterday we had no idea if she was a boy or a girl and what his/her name would even be. Now she is Jubes with a 'tude! Attitude that is, but it is a cute one for now. I guess she has figured out she has to hold her own in this house or you might just get taken under. All the kids are great with her but Ethan especially is so affectionate with her and sh e responds well to him. He grabs her and carries her with him, pulls her beside him when he is playing and helps himself to bringing her up to bath and bed, as well as helping me out by bringing her down stairs. She can say a few words like mamama, nod her head yes and no, play peek a boo, pull herself up on furniture, army crawl, do some weird dance when music is on, and hand things to us and grab them back. She does not care for her brother Simeon holding her on his lap, or anything else he forces her to do like holding her feet so she can't go anywhere! She hated her peas and green beans but loves her meats. She is trying stairs and going from one piece of furniture to the next, it won't be long until she is walking! Her cheeks are so kissable and she receives several of them a day! One of the many benefits of living in a family of 9. We look forward to watching her grow and are so thankful for being entrusted with her so far.

We have now had Prescott for over a month now. Prescott Richard as he is called, to be exact. I have no idea why, it just sounded like a right fit. For some reason our animals always end up with middle names and Richard seemed to go hand in hand with Prescott. He is getting big, almost a whole 3 pounds and he loves kleenex and toilet paper. Uggghhhh. You can often find him bouncing from one floor of our house to the next and having some all out brawls with our cat Earl.
I hope this finds all of you well!
Love,
Miriam
