It's our anniversary

 

Here is a picture of yesterday...Guess what we celebrated? Our 7th anniversary. We were reminiscing last night about all the changes that have happened in the last 7 years. We have often thought what life would be like if we would have just got married, bought a house, had the 5 year plan before we had kids and maybe a vacation or two in there. Instead God saw fit to bring us through ministry challenges, adoption, 4 more kids making it 6 in total, 4 houses, and church planting. We would never have been able to predict or chosen  that future. But, that is because we are not God, praise Him!

It seems fitting that our first post would be on the heels of where it all started. It is so good to look back at God's tapestry of Grace in our lives, especially in the dark times. But, speaking of dark times God has actually provided a very light place in our own home. It is my new favorite room, (along with a very large kitchen where we all have room to hang out!) the sun room. It is where I get to wake up early and spend time in the word reading about "The Son", I get to watch "The Son" come up, and it is where He meets me to prepare for my day. Here are some pictures, I hope you enjoy as much as we do! Thanks to Traditional Cabinetry our barn doors look amazing in there!
